In 2011, a new guide for mobile researchers “to and from” Belgium has been realized.
It is addressed to all researchers planning to move toward Belgium whether they come
from the European Economic Area or from further. This guide encompasses updated information pertaining to employment (work permit), entry and residence rights (visa, registration), social security, labour laws (pension, unemployment), taxes, and much more.
A new section dedicated to researchers leaving Belgium has also been added.
